I have no formal tutoring experience, but always devote time to helping my friends or classmates grasp the subject material. I would love to be a tutor in order to gain some teaching experience (as I am aiming to teach at a university someday) and because I simply love to discuss English and Philosophy. The relevant courses I have taken are as follows: Freshman Composition, Sophomore Composition/Literary Analysis, Creative Writing, Advanced Grammar and Composition, Survey of English Literature, Survey of World Literature, Survey of American Literature, Great Books of the U.S., Film as Art, Survey of the English Language, Introductory Philosophy, Ethics, The Meaning of Life, Comparative Ethics: East and West, and Political Philosophy. My cumulative GPA is a 4.0. I am a candidate for valedictorian at Finlandia University this spring.
